Adani Upcoming Projects in Dharavi, Mumbai

The Adani Group leads the Dharavi Redevelopment Project with the Government of Maharashtra. The projects tracked on this page are the Adani Dharavi Redevelopment itself, the Adani Rehabilitation Homes at Matunga, and upcoming 1, 2, 3 and 4 BHK homes, office spaces, retail shops, plots and a business centre. Open-market launch details have not been announced yet.

The Adani Group won the bid in 2022 with a ₹5,069 crore offer. The project is executed through a special-purpose vehicle with the state government, reported as Navbharat Mega Developers (Adani 80%, Government of Maharashtra 20%) and referred to in the 2026 launch release as Adani Navbharat Developers Pvt Ltd.

Ten towers with 10,432 rehabilitation apartments of 350 sq ft each, plus 1,379 commercial and industrial units, on a 22-acre railway site in Matunga. Towers have 37 to 39 storeys.

Handover to DRP/SRA is planned in three phases: the first five towers by March 2029, the next two by August 2029 and the remaining three by August 2030. The wider redevelopment is targeted for around 2032.
